Most mornings in Chapada Diamantina begin gently, before the heat settles over the trails and the light turns soft and golden. Breakfast at Vila Serrano is where the day finds its rhythm — a quiet, unhurried moment before the hills, the waterfalls, and the rest of the day call.
Each morning, we lay out a generous breakfast by the garden. Fresh fruit, sliced that morning. Homemade cakes and breads. Local cheeses and cold cuts. Yoghurt, granola, and fresh juices, all prepared with care and ready to enjoy. And coffee, proper coffee, the way it's done in Bahia.
Made here, not shipped in
We don't work from packets and powders. The tapioca is made fresh. The cakes change with the season and whatever the local market has that week. We buy from producers in and around Lençóis, so what's on the table shifts gently through the year — mango when it's mango season, passion fruit when it isn't.
Breakfast is included in your stay, with no surcharge and nothing extra to arrange at checkout.
When and where
Breakfast is served from 7:30am to 10am, in the covered pavilion with garden view. If you have a very early departure — an overnight bus to catch, or a dawn start for the Fumaça viewpoint hike — simply let us know the night before, and we'll happily arrange something for you.
Dietary requirements
Vegetarian guests are well looked after as standard. If you're gluten-free, vegan, or have allergies, do let us know when you book or send us a message on WhatsApp before you arrive — we're glad to prepare for it in advance.
